From a young age, I was always drawn to drawing—but for years, I saw it only as a personal outlet, never something more. During some of the hardest times in my life—growing up around alcoholism and later facing my own battle with addiction—art became my escape. It was through creating that I found clarity, healing, and eventually, the strength to turn my life around. My sobriety and recovery are deeply rooted in that creative process. Art didn’t just save me—it gave me something to hold onto when everything else felt uncertain.

The turning point came later, when someone I’m incredibly grateful for—Uncle Sam—stepped in. He didn’t pull me out of those dark times; I had already done that on my own. But he did help me see that this thing I loved, this tool that helped me heal, could also be something more. With his support, I began to understand that my art could become a business—a way to build something real, meaningful, and sustainable.

I’m a completely self-taught artist, and I take pride in that. I never went to art school. What I’ve learned has come from years of trial, error, and relentless dedication to my craft. Every piece you see is an honest reflection of that journey—from the raw beginnings to the place I stand today. My work ranges from playful and whimsical to deeply introspective, because that’s how life is—and I want to share it all.

Sobriety gave me the focus and drive to chase this dream, and every brushstroke is a reminder of how far I’ve come. My goal is simple: to show that no matter your past, you’re never stuck. We are not defined by our circumstances. We can grow, heal, and build something beautiful from even the darkest moments.
